San Carlos Chiropractic and Wellness Center is the chiropractic and holistic health center of Dr Douglas Husbands. It is located at Rivera Chiropractic Group in San Carlos, CA, in the San Mateo area of the San Francisco bay area.
Dr Husbands has been helping people resolve back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and other musculoskeletal conditions in California. He became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991, after working as a physical therapy aide in San Francisco and running a personal exercise training business.
Dr Husbands became interested in chiropractic, as well as holistic health, starting when he began lifting weights as a young man and eventually training as a competitive bodybuilder. He has been a great health advocate ever since.
Having had 3 major injuries that required surgery and rehabilitation, his professional experience and education have been enhanced by the personal experience of dealing with pain, going through physical therapy and rehabilitation to regain complete function of the affected body part.
Dr Husbands is also a Functional Medicine doctor, Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Anti-Aging Health Practitioner. He combines knowledge and experience in these areas to provide the best chiropractic care.
