Hip Joint Pain

My name is Linda Howell, I am a retired Sign Painter, and a volunteer Chaplain in LA County. I was referred to Dr. Husbands by a friend. I had stiffness in my neck, pain going down my right arm and into my fingers. Dr. Husbands was able to Diagnose my problem and help free me from pain. I have had many other problems in which he has helped me with. The one which stands out the most was getting my hot flash problem under control. I went to many doctors, but Dr. Husbands was the only one who helped me. He is kind, caring and trustworthy.
Sciatica

I for one will sure miss you. Very seldom does one get lessons in health, pain management, and the Love of God during a visit to a doctor. Thank-You for all the pain management I have been through in the last year. My sciatic is still a touch there but feeling much better. I continue to do my back exercises each morning, afternoon, and evening. I even played soccer last weekend and besides sore muscles I was fine. I think working standing up has made a significant contribution as well. If you have any recommendations for a Chiro with the Cox bed in Granada Hills, Northridge, Burbank, North Hollywood please send them my way.
Neck Pain and Shoulder Pain

After several years and several different approaches to finding relief for neck and shoulder pain, I found Dr. Doug. With a new approach and better understanding of the source of my pain came new relief. To this day I can better manage the pain and my over all health has remained high. At 57 I still race motocross and play high level tennis three nights a week. Thanks again Dr Doug.
Herniated Disc/Disc Protrusion

Having been under various types of care for the herniated disc in my back, I can say that Dr. Husbands has given a better effort and taken more time in consultations than my other health providers have. He has done a great job in explaining a rational & healthful approach to my back wellness. His history of successful treatment using the Cox Flexion/Distraction method gives me hope that my herniated disc can be treated without reverting to surgery as well.

We thank God for directing me to you. I’ll never forget how when I was in so much pain, the Lord reminded me of your business card that you had given me at Trader Joe’s. We will always remember the considerate way you cared for us and the excellent treatment you always gave us. I tell the story all the time about how you diagnosed my disk problem, identifying the exact spot, with just an x-ray–something the doctors never did, until finally an MRI confirmed what you had already found! And how you gave me such relief from pain! Thank you very much. And I always enjoyed our fellowship. Your commitment and love for Christ always impressed and blessed me! Thank you!
